Selecting Target Audience via Run Search in Mailchimp

    This guide walks you through the process of selecting a target audience for your Mailchimp campaigns directly within the platform by using a new search feature. This feature is designed to enhance your targeting process, allowing you to run searches specifically for email contacts and add them directly to your campaign's target audience.

    1. Navigate to the Mailchimp Dialog by clicking the Mailchimp icon.
    1. Click on the dropdown menu for selecting your Target Audience. Here, you will see a new option labeled Run Search. Select this to initiate the process.

    1.  Upon selecting Run New Search, a modal window will appear, dedicated to defining and executing your search. In this modal, only Email Objects will be accessible for search to ensure the relevance of your target audience selection. You can now select the list of target contacts you wish to include in your audience. Use the search criteria to filter and identify the specific contacts relevant to your campaign.


    1. Once you've set your criteria, use the Search button to execute the query.
    2. Access previously saved searches or lists to quickly select a target audience based on past configurations.
    3. After running your search, you can select individual or multiple contacts from the search results.
    1. Once you have selected all desired contacts, click the Done button. The selected records will then be automatically added to the lookup field in the Target Audience section of your campaign setup.
