With linking of the Saved searches linking you may organize your data in more efficient fashion, having relevant records connected to the searches you conduct. There are two ways how you can do that.
Connecting records to the Saved searches from Ascendix Search: When you navigate to Ascendix Search and choose a Saved search you want to link to the specific object record, down below the map you can find linking icon near Save Search button (in both, editing criteria mode and showing results mode)
Save Search linking button in editing criteria mode Save Search linking button in showing results mode Once clicked on, modal window to chose an object of the record you want to link. note: if you cannot find an object you want to perform a linking to, contact your system administrator to enable that object on Ascendix Search set up.
Upon setting an object, in the look up you can choose a record for the linking. If you want to link the same Saved search to different object records, click on Add New to add additional section. To remove a set of chosen records with the object, click on delete icon for the given section. Once you click on Save, given Saved search will be linked to the chosen records. Each of those records will show a linked Saved search under dedicated component. note: if your record does not show a component with Saved Search linking, contact your system administrator to add it to the layout.
Connecting records to the Saved searches from record pages When you navigate to the objects, that have been enabled for the linking with the corresponding component added to the layout, you may see the saved searches that have been previously linked or link a new saved search to it. Clicking on +Link to Saved Search button will open up a separate component.
In the pick list you will be able to choose an object of the Saved Searches you are willing to link a given record to. Duelling pick list above will allow you to choose multiple save searches of it.
Once done, you can save the linking by pressing on Save. To add save searches from other objects upon that you can perform the same actions (click on +Link to Saved Search and choose the objects and Saved Searches).
