What's new in Harvest 1.4

    Available May 12, 2026

    New features & Improvements:

    • Email-to-Salesforce parsing forward an email to a dedicated Harvest mailbox and the AI turns the message into structured Salesforce records for review and approval.

    • Powered by Salesforce Agentforce Harvest runs on Salesforce-native Agentforce AI. No customer-supplied OpenAI API key is required.

    • Side-by-side duplicate review – when an inbound email matches an existing record, Harvest opens a Comparison View so users can merge AI-suggested values into the existing record field by field, with full support for single, multi-select, dependent, and global value-set picklists, plus lookup edits.

    • Admin Console – a single page to configure the parsed objects and fields, mailbox addresses, and the in-app setup guide. No scattered custom settings.

    • xRE accelerators –  predefined object descriptions for xRE objects applied in bulk upon clicking Set xRE Settings or one-by-one upon object add, and a one-click Autogenerate xRE Duplicate rules flow that builds the duplicate and matching rules set for xRE customers.

    • Faster turnaround – record suggestions now appear within ~1 minute of email processing completion (previously up to 5 minutes).

    • Human-in-the-loop approval – no record is ever created or updated silently. Every AI suggestion lands in a Record Request Set that the recipient reviews, edits, and approves.

    • Permission-set-driven access – Ascendix Harvest Admin for administrators and Ascendix Harvest User for end users. Object access and the Harvest app are bundled into the user permission set, so onboarding is a single assignment.

    • In-app troubleshooting and notifications – bell notifications on parse completion, parse failure, and Allow-with-Alert duplicates, plus a built-in troubleshooting panel on every Record Request Set.
