Show multiple record locations on a single dynamic map in templates generated with AI

You can now enable multipoint mode on a map element bound to a Salesforce location field in an AI template. When you generate a document with multiple records, Ascendix Composer collects the geolocation for each record and renders all locations as individual pins on a single map if the “Multipoint map” toggle is enabled.

If a record has no value for the bound location field, its pin is simply omitted — the map still generates without error. If none of the selected records have geolocation data, the map renders with a "The address was not determined on the map" placeholder instead.

You can control the pin’s appearance via the Edit tab → Map appearance:

The same map appears in Preview and Publication exactly as it does in the template editor. In a Publication, pins reflect the Salesforce data resolved at generation time and are no longer dynamically bound.

Map Salesforce fields by describing them in the AI Chat

You can now describe a data mapping in plain language directly in the AI Chat — for example, "map this text to Property Name" or "link the image to the listing photo" — and Ascendix Composer will automatically bind the element to the matching Salesforce field.

The AI Chat identifies the intent, maps the natural language description to a specific field in your org's schema, and applies the binding in a single step. The element's binding indicator on the canvas updates immediately, and the chat confirms which field was applied.

If the request is ambiguous or the field cannot be resolved with confidence, the chat asks a clarifying question rather than applying an incorrect mapping. If the resolved field type is incompatible with the target element, the chat explains why the mapping was not applied.
